Tim Sheridan, Managing Partner

Tim  Sheridan has been actively involved in legislative and governmental affairs for over thirty years.  As a lobbyist, Mr. Sheridan has serviced clients in nearly every sector of the economy, developing and executing strategies on a diverse range of issues such as labor, technology, telecommunications, energy, gaming, health care, and tourism, among others. With 30 years of experience, he has extensive knowledge of the legislative process and what it means to New York State clients.


Prior to opening Sheridan Hohman & Associates, Mr. Sheridan held several key positions in state government and private industry including Program Research Analyst for the Office of the Assembly Speaker; Assistant Vice President for Government Affairs for the NYS Urban Development Corporation; Director of Governmental Affairs for Governor Mario M. Cuomo; Director of Government & Member Services for the NYS Business Council; and, Director of Scheduling for Governor Hugh L. Carey.  Tim is a graduate of Niagara University.

Katie Hohman, Partner

Katie Hohman has been involved in government affairs for nearly a decade. Katie was previously the Legislative Director of the New York State Association of Counties and has also worked as a Legislative Representative at Capitol Group, LLC in Albany.  Katie has extensive professional experience with bill drafting, bill introductions, legislative amendments, proposed regulations, analyzing relevant media and political developments, as well as association work.


Katie has extensive knowledge of local government issues including economic development, public safety, public health, mental health, environment, energy, transportation, and public works.  Katie served as a county government liaison to the Sheriffs, Judges, Jail Administrators, County Executives, Boards of Supervisors, Clerks of the Court, Towns, and Industrial Authorities.


Katie graduated from Siena College in 2009 with a BA in Political Science. In May of 2013, she received a dual masters in history and political science at the College of St. Rose.
